Praise and Worship time is held every weekday morning. To praise and worship God is to express our love and awe of who He is through song, prayer and testimonies.
Everything on earth will worship you; they will sing your praises, shouting your name in glorious songs. Psalm 66:4
General Education Development (GED) preparation classes are offered to the ladies who are interested in gaining their Certificate of High School Equivalency.
Gardening is led every Wednesday morning by Ginger Bason and Mike Warren, volunteers from the Tarrant County Master Gardner Association. Ginger and Mike give their time and expertise to teach the ladies about gardening. Under their instruction, the ladies are responsible for taking care of the fruits, vegetables, plants and flowers that are on the Teen Challenge property.
A Weekend pass is when a lady can leave Teen Challenge for the weekend from 12:30 pm on Friday and returning by 4:30 pm on Sunday. This privilege is earned after four full months in the program, and has been designed for the family to spend quality time together.
A Saturday pass is when a lady can leave Teen Challenge for the day starting at 9:30 am and returning by 4:30 pm. This privilege is earned after six months in the program.
Day Out is when the ladies go to local stores to get their weekly needs like toiletries, stamps, laundry soap, etc. Sometimes the ladies will go to a movie or other recreational activity.
